Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a fantastic break, and is ready to start another semester of lessons.
The Kiwanis festival deadline is February 10th, and performances are the last week of April. I strongly encourage students who are planning to do an RCM exam in June to compete in the Kiwanis festival; it is a great opportunity to receive feedback in an adjudicated performance setting. For those students not doing an exam, it gives them something to work towards close to the end of school year. Students must be in Royal Conservatory levelled books in order to participate.
There will be no lessons on Thursday Feb 8, as my daughter is having surgery. Lessons to make up these missed classes will be offered over spring break.
Sunday Feb 11, and Monday Feb 12, are stat holidays, so enjoy the time off – there will be no lessons!
Our 4th Annual Pancake Party will be held on March 17th from 10-12 AM. You will receive another email closer to the date outlining the details of this fun event!
Lessons to make up missed classes will be offered during spring break; days available are: Tuesday, March 20th, and Friday, March 30th. Times available are still TBD.
