Pancake Party

March 12th, 10:00 am-12:00 noon, KCMS Performance Studio

Our 3rd annual Pancake Party is quickly approaching! This is a fun, student only recital to break up the mid-semester doldrums, and start spring break on a fun note! Each student will be required to perform one song (memorization is not necessary) for their peers in a short recital. We will follow the recital with some delicious pancakes, fruit salad, and games! Students may wear their pajamas, and bring a bear/pillow/blanket, as we usually sit on the floor. If students have some fun games they would like to bring, it is always fun to have some variety! I usually bring Twister, Jenga, and Cranium.
Also, if each student could bring one piece of fruit, that would be great – we will be making a large fruit salad to share as well!
I will be asking parents directly if they would like to volunteer as chaperones for the party; if you know you want to lend a hand, give me a call, text, or email!

Spring Break

Spring break this year is March 12th-28th, with lessons resuming as regularly scheduled on March 29th. Spring Break and Easter run into each other this year, so there will be no long weekend in April, but there will be an extra day of break on March 28th!
I will be making up the lessons I missed for accompanying over Spring Break; I will be contacting each student/parent directly to pick a time that works best for them. If you know you will be away over spring break and would like some lessons made up before then, please contact me directly, as I will be offering make-up classes on Sundays until Spring Break. All students I missed on February 17th have already been credited their lessons, and do not need to have them made up!
